About our Organization


The Organization for Greek-Norwegian Cooperation in Culture and Humanities (Org. no. 996 732 150) was founded 01.01.2011 by Alexandros Tsakos and Henriette Hafsaas-Tsakos.

The organization supports economically and administratively projects that promote cooperation between Greeks and Norwegians within the fields of culture and humanities in general, as well as the Medieval Sai Project, the archaeological project driven by the two founders of the Organization.

Membership is open for all interested that pay the yearly membership fee.

For 2015, the fees have been set as follows:

200 NOK (20 € for our not-Norwegian members) for normal annual membership

100 NOK (10 € for our not-Norwegian members) for students, unemployed persons, and pensionists.

For a minimum contribution of NOK 10000 or € 1000 you earn the honorary title of the patron of the Organization for a single year.

All contributions are of course welcome!

  1. Hei! Jeg er i ferd med å planlegge invitasjon av en gresk folkedansgruppe til Norge – østlandsområde. Jeg er på leting etter mulige sponsorer. Er dette et mulig sted? I am about to plan to invite a greak professional traditional dancinggroup to Norway. I ma looking for possible sponsors. Is this a possible place?
